   Shroud of Distress is a German band created in 2011, so far they have released just one album with only a few songs. But they will release a split with Silent Thoughts, that is a solo project of (N.).
   Shroud of Distress, the band name already says a lot about their music, everything in their songs are so distressful and sad, it makes you feel so hopeless.

   A lot of people say that they are Blackened Shoegaze or Post Black Metal, I don't agree with this, though there is some elements from this genres.
   I don't understand how this band is not famous in the depressive scene, their music is so great and unique, I recommend this for every fan of Black Metal. And remember kids... be happy!!!

   Worship is one of the most influential bands in all the doom metal scene, at the beginning they released their music only on tape and most of them are splits. All of you that don't know very much about funeral doom, and want to know what it's all about, I recommend to start with this band.

   Worship was created in 1998 by Fucked-up Mad Max and The Doommonger. The band was disbanded in 2001 when Fucked-up Mad Max killed himself by jumping off a bridge during a trip to Canada. A few years later, in 2004, the band reunited with new members and are active since.
   Worship is so unique, their music is so bleak, they truly have everything that a great funeral doom band should have. I highly recommend this band for everyone.

   Kyla was a one man band created by Kim Carlsson (Hypothermia, ex-Lifelover, ex-Life is Pain), and as you can expect this band is truly great, as are Kim's other bands.

   Listening to Kyla's songs makes me feel like I am in a hole, that I have tried to leave for years, and just gave up, accepted the failure, so I stay there feeling the loneliness and the emptiness, just waiting for my end.

   I recommend this band for all the fans of good depressive music.

P.H.T.O - Discography

   P.H.T.O means "percevoir les horribles tristesses obscures" that translate to something like "perceive the horrible sadness obscure", so obviously the music is sad, painful and obscure. This truly is a great band, but sadly they released only one album with just a few songs.
   Molasar, who played the drums, hang himself in January 4th 2011 at the age of 43, a few days before the release of their first album. After his death P.H.T.O and a few other bands created in his memory a french black metal collective called Molasar Dreams.
   P.H.T.O will soon release a split with Imber Luminis and their second album called Lumieres Eteintes. Also there is a music that was never released called psychose, you can listen to it in the band myspace (link).
   P.H.T.O released a demo in 2009 but I never found it, so I will not be posting it for download.
